Bonjour! I'm Madame Rachelle, founder of Beyond Bonjour Academy.
I'm passionate about languages, culture, travel, and lifelong learning. Born in New York and raised speaking both French and Haitian Creole, I've experienced first hand how language can connect people, open doors, and create opportunities. It's that passion that inspired me to share these beautiful languages with the next generation.
Learning another language is about so much more than just vocabulary and grammar, it's about building confidence, discovering new cultures, and seeing the world through a different lens.

Travel has always been one of my greatest inspirations. I've visited and explored several countries including France, Spain, Haiti, England, Italy (Rome), the Bahamas, and many U.S. states and territories. My next adventure is Southeast Asia, where I look forward to experiencing even more cultures and languages. As a lifelong learner, I'm currently studying Thai and Spanish, proving that you're never too old (or too young) to begin learning something new.
That's why I founded Beyond Bonjour Academy! To bring high-quality language learning, and enrichment opportunities to families throughout our community. My goal is to create engaging, interactive experiences where children and teens develop language skills while building confidence, and a love of learning.
I hold a Master's degree in International Business, along with technical degrees in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, and Business Operations. In addition to my educational background, I have years of experience tutoring students and leading educational activities for children of all ages. I also serve as an administrator for a local homeschool community, where I organize educational workshops, field trips, enrichment programs, and family events.
Whether your child is taking their first steps in French, strengthening their Haitian Creole, or exploring a new language through one of our enrichment programs, I'm excited to be part of their learning journey.
